Built on the award winning Nexus platform, the airPoint™ Nexus (sB3210) can deliver 15Mbps throughput for 3 - 5 mile (6 - 8 Km) links. The airPoint Nexus is a value-creating access point that is intelligent, carrier class, easy to deploy and easy to maintain.

Value-Creating License free broadband

Why pay for expensive licensed bands when you experience RF congestion? The airPoint Nexus utilizes the license free ISM (and UNII) bands in 2.4Ghz and 5.2 -5.8 Ghz frequency and supports IEEE 802.11b, 802.11g and 802.11a standards.

In the event of RF congestion, the Nexus’ software tunable radios give Wireless ISPs the freedom to change frequency bands and standards, thus providing high availability to clients. WISPs can choose via software between:

• · 14 Channels in the 2.4 Ghz ISM Band,
• · 4 Channels in the 5.25 to 5.35 Ghz UNII Band,
• · 11 Channels in the 5.50 to 5.70 Ghz UNII Band or
• · 4 Channels in the 5.725 to 5.850 Ghz ISM Band.

Carrier Class Robustness

Having difficulty with wireless deployments in extreme operating environments? The airPoint Nexus is designed for carrier class reliability in operating environments ranging from -45º C and +60º C (-50º F to 140º F) at 5% to 95% non-condensing humidity. Maintaining the signature smartBridges reliability under extreme conditions, the airPoint Nexus is ideal for very hot or cold climates and/or very humid or dry conditions.

Dual Ethernet Ports allows for Back to Back connectivity (or daisy chaining) with other Ethernet enabled devices (like IP Camera's or VoIP phones) for added convenience.

Daisy chaining of access points can also be used for redundancy or repeater mode of operation.

Maintenance is convenient with the airPoint Nexus, with continuous automatic client link monitoring and optimization, the network monitors itself leaving you to concentrate on your core work.
