airPoint-PRO™ series are high performance professional wireless Access Points with advanced features to deploy 802.11b standard based large wireless infrastructure. airPoint-PRO™ features LongRange™ radio to deliver high data throughput and long operating range. Better range translates directly into lower wireless infrastructure cost when the need is to cover a large area. The airPoint-PRO offers external RADIUS authentication, remote management, a Repeater mode and Client to Client traffic isolation. It is available in three form factors – Stylish Indoor, Rugged Outdoor product to withstand temperature extremes and a TOTAL product with integrated antenna for a one box convenience. These form factors meet the requirements for all different wide area wireless network installations.

airPoint XO² [sB5100], the second product, is a dual-radio device that offers all the features of the airPoint XO. In addition, the modular control of radios enables many different configurations. The airPoint XO² can be used in high performance Cell Extender configuration for deploying low cost backhaul solution. It can be used as two Access Points in a box for simultaneous use to support large number of users or it can also be used as a highly reliable Access Point with Hot Standby for redundancy.
